Our Story

RBG Productions or Representing Brown Girls, Productions, was established in 2011 by sisters Paige and Pam Brown. Their mission is to promote the positive images, people and activities in the African American community that do not get enough recognition in the media. Heavily influenced by their upbringing, the Brown sisters aspire to raise cultural awareness to their audiences, one event at a time. Paige, the creative, is responsible for securing the entertainment and ensuring the audience is engaged visually and musically. Pam, the coordinator, is responsible for the structure and production of the shows. She works hands on with all of the participants to ensure they are encouraged and prepared for the show. Together the Brown girls bring you one of a kind, quality “edutainment” that only RBG Productions can provide.

The Natural Cutie competition is an annual event held to showcase the beauty, creativity, and versatility of African American hair in its natural state. The Natural Cutie show was the first ever RBG Production in 2011 and it quickly became our most popular event. Contestants become a part of a sisterhood and the winners have the opportunity to become the spokesperson for RBG Productions for the entire year and a member of the RBG family forever. RBG Productions works closely with our winners to help promote and support their individual brands.
